Driving Out Hunger: Uride’s September Initiative for Hunger Action Month

This September, Uride is taking action against hunger in a direct and impactful way. In recognition of Hunger Action Month, we're mobilizing our resources and community to address food insecurity, one of the most pressing issues affecting our communities. Our drivers will be purchasing and donating groceries to local food banks across the cities we operate in, ensuring that those in need have access to nutritious food.

Nourishing Our Communities

Food insecurity can affect anyone, and our initiative aims to reach as many people as possible through local food banks. These essential organizations work tirelessly to combat hunger and provide meals to those who might otherwise go without. By equipping them with more resources, we can help extend their reach and impact, ensuring that fewer members of our community suffer from hunger.

Partnering with Local Food Banks

This month, we are proud to support the following food banks:

Ontario:

British Columbia:

Alberta:

New Brunswick:

Prince Edward Island:

Each donation of groceries from our drivers will help these food banks meet the increased demand they face, providing relief to families and individuals who rely on their services.

Our Commitment to Community Support

By engaging our drivers in the collection and donation of groceries, we foster a deeper connection with the communities we serve and create a direct line of support to those in need. This initiative not only helps fill the shelves of food banks but also raises awareness about food insecurity, encouraging others to take action.

Join Us in Fighting Hunger
