The Good Deeds Program is an embodiment of Uride's commitment to nurture the communities we are part of. This initiative is not just about offering rides; it's about creating tangible changes that positively impact local lives. Last month, we supported local Children's Soccer Organizations, contributing towards nurturing young talent. This July, we're turning our focus towards the senior community.
Ride for a Reason Initiative: Support for Our Seniors
On July 25, our Ride for a Reason initiative dedicates 10% of all Uride fares for a day to local senior centres across our cities. Our decision to spotlight senior centres this month reflects our dedication to making a difference across all age groups. We believe in honouring our seniors and acknowledging the rich lives they've led, the wisdom they carry, and the stories they share.
Making an Impact: Uride's Senior Centre Donations
That's why we are proud to announce that our donations this month will go to local senior activity centres, promoting their incredible work in providing a safe and enjoyable environment for our seniors. These organizations offer crucial services, including social activities, resources, meals, and educational programs, fostering a vibrant and supportive community for our seniors.
