Uride's Good Deeds Program - April - Combating Hunger

At Uride, we believe in making a positive impact in every city where we operate. This month, we continued our commitment to strengthening our communities with donations totalling $7200 to various organizations across the cities we serve. These contributions were aimed at combating hunger, enhancing community programs, and supporting food assistance initiatives.

In Kelowna, we were delighted to donate $400 to Meals on Wheels, an organization that provides nourishing meals to individuals who are unable to prepare meals for themselves.

Similarly, in Kamloops, we supported the Kamloops Food Bank with a $400 contribution to help them continue their crucial work in battling food insecurity.

Our efforts also reached The Salvation Army in Nanaimo and Prince George, each receiving $400 to support their food assistance and community services. Vernon's House of Hope was another proud recipient of our $400 donation.

In Medicine Hat, our $500 donation will aid The Brown Bag Lunch Program in providing meals for children and youth. Further west, in Victoria, we supported the James Bay Community Project with $500 towards their food assistance initiative.

Anti-Hunger Coalition in Timmins also received a $500 donation to aid their community services. Prince Edward County's Food to Share initiative was bolstered by our $200 donation.

In a significant contribution, we donated $500 to the Soup Kitchen Community Centre & $500 to Helping Hands in Sault Ste. Marie, helping them provide meals and support to those in need.

These contributions reflect our continued commitment to being more than just a ride-hailing service. At Uride, we strive to be an active and responsible member of each communities we serve. We believe in empowering communities, not only through creating job opportunities for drivers, but also through giving back in meaningful ways.

Our heartfelt thanks goes out to all of our riders and drivers. Your continued support allows us to make a difference. We're looking forward to furthering our impact and making even more good deeds happen in the months to come.
