​Uride Technologies Inc. Social Code
Updated and Effective: 25-March-2025.

At Uride Technologies Inc. ("Uride", “we” or “our”), we are dedicated to maintaining a safe, respectful, and equitable environment for all users of our platform and application (the “Uride Platform”), including riders, drivers, employees, and partners (each a “Uride User”). This Social Code outlines the expected standards of Uride Users’ behavior to ensure that all interactions within the Uride Platform remain professional, inclusive, and conducive to a positive experience for all. Uride maintains sole and absolute discretion in interpreting and enforcing this Social Code. This Social Code is incorporated by reference into Uride’s Terms of Service.
 

1. Safe & Respectful Network

Uride is committed to upholding safety, fairness, and respect for every individual using our platform. Uride Users shall:

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using the Uride Platform;

  • Treat all individuals with respect, including drivers, riders, and customer support staff; and

  • Foster a safe, harassment-free environment for all Uride Users.

Adherence to these standards helps ensure that Uride remains a trusted and positive platform for transportation.

3. Fair Dealing

Uride Users are expected to engage with honesty, transparency, and fairness. Unacceptable behaviors include, but are not limited to:

  • Misrepresentation of identity, vehicle details, or trip information;

  • Misuse of personal data; and

  • Manipulation, dishonest practices or deceit intended to gain an unfair advantage.

4. Forced Labor & Human Rights

Uride adheres strictly to ethical business practices and supports the protection of human rights. The following activities are expressly prohibited:

  • Forced labor, human trafficking, or exploitation of any kind.

Should Uride identify any individual or Uride User involved in such illegal activities, Uride will notify the appropriate law enforcement authorities and cooperate with such law enforcement authorities in accordance with applicable laws.

5. Professionalism & Conduct

All Uride Users are expected to maintain professionalism and courteous conduct at all times.

Drivers:

  • Comply with all local driving laws and regulations and maintain a clean, safe vehicle;

  • Respect riders and engage professionally; and

  • Refrain from unsafe or illegal driving behaviors such as speeding, driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or reckless driving.

Riders:

  • Be courteous toward drivers and observe proper social etiquette;

  • Respect the cleanliness and condition of the driver’s vehicle; and

  • Comply with all relevant laws and Uride policies when requesting a ride.

6. Violations & Loss of Access

Uride prioritizes the safety and security of all Uride Users. A Uride User’s access to the Uride Platform may be immediately terminated or suspended with or without notice for violations of, or suspected violations of, this Social Code, including but not limited to:

  • Illegal activities, such as traffic violations or data privacy breaches;

  • Harassment, discrimination, aggressive, abusive or otherwise inappropriate behavior;

  • Unsafe conduct, such as reckless driving or failure to follow safety protocols; and

  • Substance abuse, including drug or alcohol use while using the platform.

7. Feedback & Reporting

Uride values user feedback and is committed to continuous improvement. We encourage Uride Users to:

  • Report inappropriate behavior or misconduct to Uride immediately;

  • Contact Uride Support for assistance with concerns; and

  • Leave feedback after every trip via the app.

8. Social Media Guidelines

Uride Users shall not post any content on any platform or website that may, in Uride’s sole and absolute discretion, harm the reputation of Uride, the Uride Platform or other Uride Users. 

Specifically, Uride Users shall not:

  • Harass, defame, threaten, or intimidate, or spread fraudulent information about, Uride, the Uride Platform or other Uride Users;

  • Share false or misleading information regarding Uride’s services, platform or operations; and

  • Engage in offensive or harmful discussions related to Uride, the Uride Platform or other Uride Users.

By maintaining a professional and respectful online presence, we help preserve Uride as a trusted and reliable platform for all Uride Users.

9. Amendments & Updates

Uride reserves the right to periodically update this Social Code to reflect changes in our policies, services, and community needs. Uride Users shall regularly review this Social Code to stay informed about any updates. Continued use of the Uride Platform by a Uride User following any updates to this Social Code constitutes acceptance of such updates by such Uride User.
