Uride Technologies Inc. SMS Messaging Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
Uride Technologies Inc. (“Uride”) offers both recurring and occasional one-time or limited-duration text message programs. These SMS Messaging Terms and Conditions (these "SMSTerms") govern your participation in Uride’s SMS programs (the “Uride SMS Program”). By subscribing to receive text messages from Uride, you agree to these SMS Terms and to Uride’sTerms of Service and Privacy Policy. These SMS Terms are incorporated by reference into Uride’s Terms of Service.
By opting into the Uride SMS Program, you expressly provide your consent to receive transactional and marketing text messages from Uride, through automated and non-automated means, including, but not limited to, updates, promotions, account alerts, and service notifications.
2. Consent & Opt-In
By enrolling in the Uride SMS Program, you:
● Provide express, informed consent to receive automated text messages at the mobile number you provide to Uride;
● Acknowledge that consent to receive these messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services from Uride;
● May opt-in through various methods, including online forms, app sign-ups, booking confirmations, or other designated enrollment processes; and
● Understand that message frequency may vary depending on service updates, promotions, or other operational needs.
2.1 Message Types
You may receive the following types of messages:
● Transactional Messages: Ride confirmations, receipts, trip updates, account alerts, and other service-related notifications.
● Promotional Messages: Special offers, promotions, discounts, and other marketing communications.
● Engagement Messages: Surveys, feedback requests, reminder notifications, and other interactive messages.
3. Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier’s plan. Uride is not liable for any charges, fees and taxes incurred by your wireless provider. You are solely responsible for all charges, fees and taxes associated with your receipt of messages from Uride. Please consult your mobile carrier for applicable fees.
4. Opt-Out & Unsubscribe
You may opt-out of the Uride SMS Program at any time by:
● Texting “STOP” to the short code or phone number from which you received messages.
● You will receive a final confirmation message to confirm your opt-out request.
Following your opt-out, you may still receive transactional messages (e.g., ride confirmations, security notifications). For further assistance, please contact Uride’s customer support at:

5. Supported Carriers & Delivery
Uride does not guarantee, represent or warrant the successful delivery of SMS messages and is not responsible for delays, message filtering, or non-receipt due to carrier restrictions, technical failures, or other factors beyond Uride’s control. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAWS, URIDE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY COSTS, FEES,EXPENSES OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO MESSAGE DELIVERY DELAYS, FILTERING, NON-RECEIPT OR TECHNICAL FAILURES.
6. Privacy & Data Security
Uride respects your privacy and does not sell or share your mobile number with third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent. Your information will be used, stored and processed in accordance with Uride’s Privacy Policy and applicable privacy and data protectionlaws and regulations. Data collected may include your mobile number, ride history, preferences, and interactions with Uride’s SMS communications. For further details, please review Uride’sPrivacy Policy.
7. Changes to SMS Terms
Uride reserves the right to update these SMS Terms at any time. Any material changes that impact user consent, message frequency, or opt-out procedures will be communicated directly via SMS or email in addition to being posted on Uride’s website. Your continued use of the Uride SMS Program or the Uride platform after such communication of changes constitutesacceptance of the updated SMS Terms.
8. Compliance with CASL (Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation)
Uride is committed to complying with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and ensures that:
● Messages are sent only to users who have provided express or implied consent;
● A clear and easy-to-use opt-out mechanism (e.g., the “STOP” command) is available; and
● All messages contain Uride’s identification and contact details.

9. Disputes
Any disputes arising from these SMS Terms shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions set forth in Uride's Terms of Service.
